Swedish Massage
Swedish is a classic massage technique, which utilizes long gliding strokes & the kneading of muscles. Pressure is applied to soft tissue to relieve tension, relax aching muscles, increase blood & lymph circulation, & increase flexibility. Calm your mind & mind body with this traditional relaxing massage.
Deep Tissue Massage
A treatment tailored to your specific needs. This technique focuses on areas of complaint with deep pressure as tolerated. Deep Tissue may help relieve pain from any long-standing issues such as chronic back or neck pain.
Amma Therapy
This Eastern massage focuses on the balance & improvement of Qi (life energy). Amma Therapy relaxes muscles & tendons, increases blood flow, lymphatic circulation, & facilitates digestion & elimination. It is a gentle technique, which uses pressure points on the meridians of the body. Like acupuncture, this highly refined & complex system of Asian bodywork rejuvenates the flow of energy. Shortly after an Amma treatment it is common to feel a burst of energy!
Reiki
Reiki is a method of natural healing based on the application of Spiritual/Sacred (Rei) Life Force Energy (ki). Reiki is an ancient healing art, with Japanese roots. In a session, the practitioner's hands are held above or lightly touching the body. By harmonizing the body's chakras (energy centers) Reiki helps clear stagnations, which may be the cause of pain or discomfort. It is common to feel heat or tingling in areas being treated and many experience an overwhelming feeling of calmness after their session. Reiki is an excellent complementary therapy, especially when combined with other healing arts.
