Ticket Rules
Tickets will be mailed to you starting September 15,
2007. Online ticket sales will run until October 17th, 2007. You may still purchase tickets DURING the conference,
however. If you purchase tickets after the
mailing date of September 15, your tickets will still be mailed out up
until September 30. All other packets will be held for pick-up for
those who purchase tickets after September 30. If you prefer to
pick up your packet at the conference, you may do so by requesting it
when you purchase your ticket online. The online system, before
processing your purchase, will ask you how you want your tickets
delivered to you.
Full Weekend Passes do not allow you into private events or
receptions. Any event marked PRIVATE on the schedule page means that you must have
special permission to gain entry. Most private events will be
coordinated through other organizations who registered for
workshops. All workshops (public and private) that are registered
before the conference will be posted online with a contact email.
You are more than welcome to request entry, but it is not guaranteed.
There are NO REFUNDS. The only case in which a refund may happen
is if the entire conference shuts down.
Once a purchase is made, the sale is FINAL.
Purchasing a ticket DOES NOT GUARANTEE entry into an event. Each
event can only hold so many people. For example, most of the
distinguished speakers will be held in Schwab Auditorium, which holds about 1000 people. If more than 1000 people show up, then you may be
turned away from the door if you are one of the last in line. It
is recommended that you arrive early for each event.
There will be a UNIV-CON Code of Conduct issued, effective May 1st 2007, for all future conferences. Conference members are required to follow the Codes of Conduct, or else they will be immediately escorted off the UNIV-CON and Penn State premise. Conference attendees will be made aware of the Codes of Conduct before they arrive at UNIV-CON.
By purchasing a
ticket, you agree to the rules and regulations above.
