Together We Can Do Something Positive
This is Univ-Con’s first year working with Make-A-Wish.  We are very excited about this and would like to invite all of our attendees and speakers to participate.  If we all go out one day and ask our families, friends and co-workers to contribute a buck or two, we will be able to raise enough money to make one wish.

Make-A-Wish is a non-profit organization, which fulfills the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.  To date, more then 6,500 wishes have been fulfilled, and by working together we can help raise that number.

Now for the rules: First and foremost, if you would like to participate please download the form and fill it out.   You may work alone, or you may form a group.  There is no limit to how many people per group. 

When you arrive to the conference, please drop the collection money at the Univ-Con Headquarters.  There you will be given a receipt.  Winners will be announced on Sunday.  If you or your group leaves before the announcement, your prize will be mailed to you.

The following ways of raising money will not be condoned: robbing banks, insurance fraud, gambling, con-artistry, selling somebody else’s organs without their permission, stealing from old ladies, profit from ghost investigations, working with the Columbian cartel. 

The prizes: We are aware that there are some people coming in groups and some who are flying solo, but regardless we would like to give everyone a fair chance to win some prizes.  That’s why we will be giving away prizes to the top three individuals who raise the most money, as well as to the top three groups.

During UNIV-CON 2007, attendees will get to bid on some exciting items. All proceeds will go to the Make A Wish foundation!
